After a career in technology, I am living my passion for helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges and transitions. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from George Mason University in 2010 and am currently working toward my LCSW under the supervision of MLB Therapy.
I specialize in supporting teens and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions (such as divorce, career shifts, or major moves), family challenges, and relationship struggles. My approach blends cognitive-based models like CBT and motivational interviewing with experiential methods such as mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of my clients.
My goal is to help clients build coping skills, manage symptoms, and live lives guided by their values – not by anxiety, stress, or self-doubt. I believe therapy should be a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, develop resilience, and move toward greater self-confidence and wellbeing.
I currently offer evening and Saturday morning appointments to provide flexibility for busy schedules.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, camping, traveling with my family, and bringing a spirit of curiosity and lifelong learning to everything I do. I’m proud to offer inclusive, culturally competent care to every client I serve!
